Greetings! I've been meaning to say something about a certain issue that's happening to me and other deviants...Per say,
We all are oblivious to people's feelings, as so, we don't really care about what is being presented.Everyone is that way though, I suppose. We try to make it look like we care, but really, we don't.This will never change, and is bound to still keep on going all throughout deviant art.To say it in a more simpler way, deviants will either respond to a deviation with a very dull comment, or just never say anything about the art. This is a very big issue, that can lead people like me into depression, anger, and much more
.This is a message I was ready to say a few days ago, more likely Shelby/people, this is the answer to all of your questions.
"Why do people ignore my work?" "Is there something wrong with me?" "Do they not care?"
To be a real artist, you must seek approval in yourself, not in anyone else.Don't try to care about people's opinions, don't let it get in the way.Sure, a critique is nice, and that will help you. What I'm saying is you don't need to care if no one is commenting, you don't need to care if people make the simplest comments. This is your artwork, your world.Art is something to express your feelings, your emotions, your imagination.Just let it flow, let all of that hatred and loneliness out.If no one is caring, you, alone, can make a difference.Do what your heart tells you to do.
That is all, goodbye
